Questions
What is the wedding hashtag?
The most important question of all. It’s #StevensTieTheKnot.
Will the ceremony and reception be outside?
We’re planning to hold the ceremony on the lawn and enjoy dinner on the outdoor patio. If the weather has other plans, both events will move indoors.
Will there be parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the house.
Do I need to stay at the house to attend?
No, you’re welcome to stay anywhere in the region or in the nearby town of Ithaca. However, we’d love for everyone to stay at the house with us!
Will other guests be staying at the property?
Nope, you’re getting VIP access to an exclusive event where we’ll be the only guests at the house.
Can you accommodate any dietary restrictions?
Since one Steven has had to navigate a dairy-free life not by choice, we’re well-acquainted with dietary needs, and so are the Inns of Aurora. Please include any dietary restrictions on your RSVP, along with the meals you’ll be attending.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, we’ll have an open bar with beer, premium wines, and liquors, along with non-alcoholic options.
What are some of the room amenities?
Alongside their signature homemade granola bars every morning, each guest room is stocked with a Nespresso machine for morning coffee and tea. Daily housekeeping services are supplemented with a nightly turndown to set the stage for a restful night’s sleep. Complimentary s’mores kits are available to enjoy around each property’s firepit in the evening.
Want to know more about that complimentary wine and cheese hour?
All guests are invited to 1833 Kitchen & Bar’s new Tasting Bar on the first floor of the Aurora Inn for a complimentary glass of Finger Lakes wine and seasonal light bite daily from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Is there a registry?
No registry. The best gift is having our friends and family with us to celebrate.
