Our story
Our love story, like many millennials, began online and through a network of mutual friends. Picture it: Washington, DC, 2017. Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" was topping the charts, the first-ever image of a black hole had just been unveiled, and in a busy hotel lobby, two Stevens (spelled the same way) met in person for the first time.
A few years later the world shifted to remote work, giving us the chance to spend more time together between Pittsburgh and Dallas. Despite a global pandemic, and the West Coast wildfires that turned Seattle's skies into a warm sepia tone, we decided to take our first trip together to the Pacific Northwest. That journey marked the beginning of our adventures to:

Together
After countless miles, “Pittsburgh Steven” sold his house and moved to Dallas. Now we’re taking the next big step forward together! From the start, our relationship has been filled by endless travels across the country, over-the-top home cooked meals, and truly unforgettable adventures with friends and family.

Steven Rollinson
“Big Steven” grew up on the north side of Houston where he spent all of his free time with Boy Scouts, multiple school choirs, and even a little bit of band. No, he doesn’t still play the trombone. About 15 years ago he moved to Dallas, (finally) wrapped up his college degrees, and started working at Southwest Airlines.
Steven loves to travel, eat good food, and then plan vacations where he can go eat more good food. Speaking of good food, he’s one heck of a cook, but doesn’t like following recipes…which drives a certain someone up the wall.
Why Steven Turkovich?
He is truly one of the most the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. He helps me grow as a person every day. His creativity and penchant for antics brings a lot of joy to our lives together…and this website (though I did insist on a sans-serif font.)
Steven Turkovich
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA his entire life, Steven comes from a small (kidding) family with 12 aunts and uncles and countless cousins. Initially he grew up wanting to be a garbage man, because the truck was cool, but quickly switched to an aeronautical engineer, and fell in love with music. After 22 years, he finally landed on Marketing.
He has a passion for all things food and taco related; enjoys finding the perfect Instagramable moment; prefers sweetntea over coffee; has a passion for cooking (but is a baker at heart); plays the piano; rocks out equally to Adele and Beethoven; and likes finding places off the beaten path.
Why Steven Rollinson?
He effortlessly helps balance my overactive mind with his calming presence and makes me laugh like no one else can. His intelligence and wit inspire me every day. Every moment with him creates memories filled with laughter, love, and a sense of wonder.
